Timeline for Book Reviews:
THIS SECTION WILL BE ADDED AFTER THE FIRST FULL WEEK OF SCHOOL. |
SO many students have no idea what to read. Some students may never have found a book that they enjoy, some may have read all of the books they have ever heard of in the genre or style of book that they like. I will try to post here often so students and parents alike can have some book recommendations to go off of.
If you want a general idea, click above on the GoodReads button to go to a list of the Top 100 Middle School Must-Reads. I am incredibly passionate about helping students find something that they love to read. Many students do not now or may never like to read fiction. That is fine! Let's find an interesting book about your favorite subject or a great biography of one of your favorite people in history. Or maybe the problem is you are overwhelmed by large books. That's fine too! Let's find you a smaller book that is still complex enough to challenge you, or a graphic novel that limits the amount of reading per page you will do. Whatever the challenge, I am dedicated to helping you find something that you will enjoy reading. "Bookshelf" by Stewart Butterfield - flickr.
